During this event many inventors performed, among them very interesting presentation had Mr. Jurijs Baumanis from Inventio Forte Fortuna, where the theme was "Invention thanks to fluke". Mr. Baumanis draw attention on fact that many essential inventions are made by chance. For example, penicillin was invented because, inventor forgot to clean up test-tubes in his laboratory, tire rubber inventor unsuccessfully experimented for many years by trying to combine caoutchouc with other different elements, then threw caoutchouc on stove in anger, which melted, combined with sulphur and needed material appeared, and etc. Something alike with happened with Mr. Jurijs Baumanis as in the story with penicillin, he as well forgot to clear away experiment equipment and as a result he found solution that he was looking for.
The Eco bird-cage invention raised a little smile at first sight, nevertheless 5000 sold items and European Design Patent was as a strong argument for change of attitude.
PriBalt partner was interested in vertical wind generator with high efficiency ratio that was invented by Vasilijs Jegorovs and approved by Latvian Inventors Association. During the coffee brake investment professional agreed with inventor about closer acquaintance.
